Maurice Watson Jr. turned himself in to authorities in response to an arrest warrant Sunday. Omaha police said Watson was booked on a first-degree sexual assault charge. A police report says a 19-year-old told investigators Watson had non-consensual intercourse with her Feb. 4. His attorney, Stu Dornan, has said Watson denies the allegations. He had been suspended from all athletics-related activities since Feb. 13. The 23-year-old senior guard suffered a season-ending knee injury last month.
