Trump ushers in an optimistic era

The elite mainstream media have completely lost touch with the American people, and at no time has this been more evident than in the first 100 days of the Trump presidency.

While the media have obsessed over rumors, unsubstantiated accusations and palace intrigue stories, the American people have seen a president delivering on his promises and putting their interests first.

The president withdrew the United States from the TransPacific Partnership to rebuild our manufacturing base and preserve American jobs.

He approved the Keystone XL pipeline and other vital infrastructure projects that will create jobs, strengthen the economy and move America towards energy independence.

He instructed the military to draft a plan to destroy ISIS and keep the plague of radicalism from our shores.

He chose Neil Gorsuch for the Supreme Court, becoming the first president since the 1800s to have a nominee confirmed in his first 100 days.

He took major steps to secure the border and prioritize the removal of criminal aliens, resulting in an incredible 64% drop in illegal immigration since last year.

He instituted historic ethics reforms that will stop government employees from cashing in as lobbyists.

He slashed job-crushing regulations and saved the economy an estimated $18 billion in compliance costs annually.

Just this week, he brought Canada and Mexico back to the table to renegotiate NAFTA and proposed the largest tax cut in American history.

But the most significant accomplishment may be that he has ushered in a new era of American optimism. Confidence among manufacturers, consumers and small business owners continues to rise.

Meanwhile, 89% of the broadcast coverage of President Trump has been negative, according to a study by the Media Research Center. The liberal media may still not get it, but the American people do.
