ANGIE’S LIST SOLD TO RIVAL FOR MORE THAN $500M
Angie’s List on Monday agreed to be acquired by IAC, the parent company of rival Home Advisor, for more than $500 million. The deal comes about a year and a half after Angie’s List rejected a $512 million offer from IAC. The new publicly traded company will be called ANGI Homeservices Inc. and will be headquartered in Golden, Colo. Angie’s List shares closed up 61% Monday to $9.51.
