MAKING WAVES

-

Returning to his show after taking time off to be with his newborn son, Billy, who is recovering from heart surgery, Jimmy Kimmel spoke about the speech he made last week, which has gone viral, on the need for universal health care. Noting commenters who called him out of touch, he made a tongue-in-cheek apology. “I would like to apologize for saying that children in America should have health care,” he said. “It was insensitive. It was offensive, and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.”
