SOUTH FLORIDA PLAYER FACES MORE CHARGES

University of South Florida defensive end LaDarrius Jackson faces more sexual assault charges, according to online jail records. Jackson, 22, was arrested and charged Wednesday with suspicion of sexual battery and false imprisonme­nt, the same two felony charges that led to his arrest earlier this month. Jackson was previously arrested by USF campus police May 1 on charges of sexual battery and false imprisonme­nt. Wednesday’s arrest was made by the Hillsborou­gh County Sheriff ’s Office, according to court records. Jackson, who was suspended from team activities after the first incident, has been dismissed from the team, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Jackson remained jailed as of Wednesday afternoon with his bond set at $9,500.
