KANAAN REPLACES BOURDAIS IN LE MANS

Tony Kanaan will replace injured driver Sebastien Bourdais on the defending class winning team at the Le Mans 24 Hours in June. It will mark Kanaan’s debut in the prestigiou­s sports car race in France. Bourdais teamed with Joey Hand and Dirk Müller to drive the No. 68 Chip Ganassi Racing Ford to the GTE Pro Class victory last season. Bourdais, a Le Mans native, broke his pelvis, hip and two ribs in a May 20 crash at Indianapol­is Motor Speedway during qualifying for the Indy 500.
