ABC’s first African-American Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay, drew 5.7 MILLION sameday viewers to Monday’s season premiere, the lowest-rated opener yet, and down from 6.6 million last summer.

Wrapping up their seasons were ABC’s Dancing With the Stars ( 10.5 MILLION viewers Tuesday, down 15% from last spring ’s finale); NBC’s The Voice ( 9.3 MILLION, down 12%); and CBS’ Survivor ( 8.4 MILLION, down 12%). All were record-low finishes.
ODDS AND ENDS
ABC’s Dirty Dancing remake drew an OK 6.6 MILLION viewers Wednesday, while the timeslot premiere of Downward Dog ( 5.7 MILLION) added a million from its post- Modern Family debut. The openers of Fox game shows Beat Shazam ( 3.6 MILLION) and Love Connection ( 3.3 MILLION, both Thursday) proved weak.
