WHEN DO WE GET ‘WONDER WOMAN 2’?

-

Justice League is exciting and all, but after a record-breaking debut, what fans are really clamoring for is another standalone Wonder Woman film. But there’s some housekeeping to take care of first. According to a person close to the situation, but not authorized to speak publicly about it, Warner Bros. will soon begin negotiations with director Patty Jenkins, who was only signed for one film.

Though the studio hasn’t formally announced a sequel, there seem to be plans afoot: In April, Jenkins told Entertainment Weekly that the next chapter “will take place in the U.S., which I think is right. She’s Wonder Woman. She’s got to come to America. It’s time.”

But in what era? Gadot joked with USA TODAY she’d like to see Diana Prince kicking it ’90-style. “I love the ’90s just because of the music. All of the sudden, you see her go on roller blades — it could be funny!”
