HARRY’S HEARTBREAK

-

Prince Harry is continuing to open up about the death of his mother, Princess Diana, explaining in an interview with ‘Newsweek’ that walking behind his mother’s casket on live TV was torture. Few who watched Diana’s funeral on Sept. 6, 1997, will forget the sight of 12-yearold Harry marching through the streets of London behind his mother’s casket, accompanied by his father, Prince Charles; his brother, Prince William; his grandfather, Prince Philip; and his maternal uncle, Charles Spencer. “My mother had just died, and I had to walk a long way behind her coffin, surrounded by thousands of people watching me while millions more did on television,” said Harry, now 32. “I don’t think any child should be asked to do that, under any circumstances. I don’t think it would happen today.”
