This film is shaping up to be Netflix’s buzziest original film yet. The movie made headlines earlier this year as controversy surged over whether films from streaming services should compete at the Cannes Film Festival. (Next year, all films must have a theatrical release.) Okja, which received good reviews, is about a young girl trying to protect her pet (a giant pig-like creature) from being slaughtered by a multinational corporation, headed by Lucy Mirando (Tilda Swinton).
