PANDORA FOUNDER TO STEP DOWN AS CEO
Pandora founder Tim Westergren will step down from the CEO role and board of directors, leaving the streaming music company he founded 17 years ago. Pandora chief financial officer Naveen Chopra will take over as interim CEO while a search for a new executive begins immediately. Shares fell 1%. Westergren stepped into the chief executive role last year as part of a larger executive shakeup. “I came back to the CEO role last year to drive transformation across the business,” Westergren said in a statement Tuesday. “We accomplished far more than we anticipated.”
