Jeromy Murray, vice president of grading and authentication at Beckett Media, to USA TODAY Sports on Wednesday, questioning the authenticity of Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott’s autograph on a recently released collection of trading cards. The autographs purported to be Prescott’s on Panini’s Prizm line looked mechanical, leading Beckett Grading Services staffers to conclude an automated signature machine had likely been used. A Panini representative said “the company is looking into it.” ESPN first reported the allegations.
