Kesha is all grown up and sending a powerful message in her new song ‘Praying.’ On Thursday, the singer released her first single in almost four years, a comeback ballad for the artist who has been under the radar while dealing with the dismissal of her sexual assault case against producer Dr. Luke, an eating disorder, anxiety and depression. In an essay on ‘Lenny Letter,’ Kesha opened up about the experiences and how they helped her create the song. “I have channeled my feelings of severe hopelessness and depression, I’ve overcome obstacles, and I have found strength in myself even when it felt out of reach.”
