A story Monday on immigratio­n advocacy groups’ gains in opposing President Trump’s policies misstated Mike Fernandez’s source of wealth. It came from the health care industry.

A front-page story Wednesday incorrectl­y reported that neither of two memorials to Newark’s violent disturbanc­es in 1967 uses the word “riot.” In fact, one memorial does use the term.

A story in some editions Wednesday on the death of former Gannett executive John Quinn misstated his role at USA TODAY. He was a founding editor who succeeded John Curley as the newspaper’s second top editor.
