MAKING WAVES

-

Instead of having a single “real woman” challenge a season, ‘Project Runway’ is dressing women of diverse shapes and sizes for an entire season. Season 16 of Lifetime’s design competition show, premiering Aug. 17, will include models size 0 to 22 and require competitors to construct looks for any size. It seems the show is finally following the advice of “Make it work” mentor Tim Gunn, who wrote in an op-ed last year about how the industry “has turned its back on plus-size women.”
