Speechless, which follows a family with a son with cerebral palsy, was one of the most charming and funny additions to the broadcast lineup last season, and ABC is re-running one of the episodes that gets to the heart of what makes the show work. In “H-E-R-- HERO,” a random student at the high school attempts to use JJ (Micah Fowler) as his “inspiration” for an essay contest, despite not knowing him.
