Despite criticisms from President Trump, Attorney General Jeff Sessions says he will continue serving in his position “as long as that is appropriate.”

Jeff Sessions is like a lap dog. He will let Trump kick him as needed but still remain loyal.

The most disturbing part about this situation is that Trump has made clear now that he wanted the top law officer in the land to look after the president’s own best interests over the American people’s.

There was absolutely no need for a special prosecutor to investigate politically driven speculations. Sessions should never have recused himself unless he was guilty of a crime.

Sessions gave up his Senate seat and hooked his star to Trump. Now, six months later, the attorney general soon could be pushed out the door and unemployed for doing the ethical thing.

Being ethical has a price in the Trump White House.

Essentially, Trump is upset that his buddy is not able to hamper the Russia investigation.

Larry J. Mitchell

Sessions’ willingness to keep working for Trump under such deplorable circumstances speaks volumes as to his desperation and dubious ethics. I bet he’s wishing he was still wasting space in the Senate.

Kevin Hays

Sessions is not afraid of Trump. No Republican is. They all know without a doubt that he is a coward.

Bill Boyd

How can you believe that the president knew nothing about Sessions’ meeting with Russians? No other president — of either party — has behaved as Trump is behaving. He is creating an atmosphere in which reality is irrelevant.
