Pro Bowl defensive end Everson Griffen agreed to a four-year extension Wednesday with the Minnesota Vikings, keeping him under contract through the 2022 season. Griffen had two years remaining on his deal before the extension. “Man, this means I’m a Vike for life,” Griffen said, per the team’s official website. “I appreciate the coaching staff, the ownership, the organizati­on.” Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but NFL Network reported it was worth $58 million, including $34 million in guaranteed money. Griffen, 29, has recorded 48 sacks in seven seasons with the Vikings, including eight last season.
