FEHERTY’S SON DIES

Golf analyst David Feherty announced on Twitter his son had died on his 29th birthday of an overdose. Shey Feherty, a resident of Dallas, died Saturday, according to his obituary on Legacy.com. A service was planned for Tuesday. David Feherty has been open about his struggles with sobriety. He told Rolling Stone in 2015 that “a typical day was 30 to 40 Vicodin and two-and-a-half bottles of whiskey.” He also admitted using cocaine.
