1 DEAD, 1 MISSING IN MINNEAPOLIS EXPLOSION
One person is dead and another was missing after a building exploded and collapsed at Minnehaha Academy, according to the Minneapolis Fire Department.
Minneapolis Fire Chief John Fruetel said Wednesday that one victim was found dead in the rubble. Minnehaha Academy confirmed that the victim is Ruth Berg, a longtime receptionist at the school. Another person was unaccounted for.
Seven people were initially admitted to Hennepin County Medical Center. HCMC tweeted that it was treating four people — one was critical and three were in satisfactory condition.
