LAST INMATE NABBED AFTER PEANUT BUTTER JAILBREAK

-

The last of a dozen Alabama inmates who used peanut butter to dupe a guard and flee a county jail was in custody Wednesday after being caught in Florida.

The Walker County Sheriff ’s Office in Jasper, Ala., said Brady Kilpatrick, 24, was arrested late Tuesday in Tequesta, Fla., about 750 miles from home.

The inmates used peanut butter to mark a cell number on an outside door, tricking a new jail employee in a control room to unlock the exit, Sheriff James Underwood said.
