LSU LINEMAN SUSPENDED

LSU suspended junior offensive lineman Maea Teuhema indefinitely for a violation of team rules, the school announced Wednesday. The loss of Teuhema, a 6-5, 315-pound returning starter for the Tigers, adds another hole to an already thin offensive line. LSU coach Ed Orgeron told reporters on Monday that Teuhema missed practice due to academic issues. Final exams for LSU’s summer school ended last week, and grades were due Tuesday. The Tigers open the season on Sept. 2 against BYU.
