Players among the top 50 in the official world golf rankings who are in the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational field. Brandt Snedeker (rib injury) is the only top 50 player not playing. The field includes 18 who have combined for 30 major championships. Of the 76 players in the field, 57 have won PGA Tour titles and 14 have won WGC events, including world No. 1 Dustin Johnson, the only player to win all four WGC events.

Reigning Masters champion and newlywed Sergio Garcia is playing with Rickie Fowler and British Open runner-up Matt Kuchar (9:20). Adam Scott is grouped with Jon Rahm and Justin Thomas (9:10).

Crunchtime has arrived as only four events remain for players to earn enough points to get into the top 125 that would be eligible for the postseason. The FedExCup Playoffs consists of four events and concludes in September at The Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, with the postseason winner receiving a $10 million bonus. 1.
