Taylor Swift was in the Denver courtroom Tuesday as an eightmember jury was selected to hear her civil suit against former radio host David Mueller. Swift’s mother cried as opening statements got underway, causing the singer to often look her way, swallow hard or whisper to her lawyer. Swift’s attorney told jurors that his superstar client is “absolutely certain” she was sexually assaulted and will prove it in court. Swift and Mueller are battling over whether Mueller groped her in 2013 and whether she got him fired.
