We asked our followers their thoughts about Google firing the employee who said the company should encourage ideological diversity over gender diversity.

Both are equally important. But without gender diversity, you can not have ideological diversity. However, no one should be fired for speaking their mind.

He sent a company email putting down an entire gender. Many have been fired for less egregious reasons at other places. He got what he deserved.

Obviously, Google only encourages group mentality. It’s an awful move to fire someone rather than offer a competing view. Seems fascist, really.

Right move. He created a hostile work environment. How can you pair him with any woman after this?
