Anthony ‘The Mooch’ Scaramucci to yuk it up with Colbert
The Mooch is back and Stephen Colbert’s got him.
But watch out, Colbert, he says he’s bringing a knife.
Anthony “The Mooch” Scaramucci, who made himself a comic target during his lightning-fast profanity-peppered stint as President Trump’s communications director, will be the guest Monday on The Late Show.
On Thursday, Scaramucci tweeted he looks forward to it, then added: “I am bringing @StephenAtHome a professionally monogrammed front stabbing knife from the @huntandfishnyc also suitable for cutting steak!”
Colbert couldn’t resist tweeting Wednesday: “This is just a heads up for our censors to get ready! #themooch.”
Liam Gallagher will be the musical guest, but all eyes will be on The Mooch, who rocketed to fame, and infamy, when Trump tapped him to head the comms shop.
There was Scaramucci’s first meet-the-press July 21, when he tried to charm the media, then threatened them for publishing leaks. Then he attacked then-White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus.
But his greatest hit was the NSFW phone rant to New Yorker reporter Ryan Lizza in which The Mooch let loose with a deluge of recorded obscenities, profanities and threats toward top White House officials.
