Comedian Marlon Wayans ( Fifty Shades of Black) co-created and stars in this new family sitcom loosely based on his life. The series follows Marlon and his ex-wife Ashley (Essence Atkins), who struggle to co-parent their children after splitting up. When Ashley starts to date, things get more complicated.
CMA FEST 2017 ABC, 8 ET/PT
Country stars Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett team up to host this year’s special, which was filmed during the CMA Music Festival in Nashville. The threehour broadcast will cover highlights from the festival, featuring artists including Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line and Lady Antebellum.
BROADCHURCH BBC AMERICA, 10 ET/PT
The murder-mystery drama reaches its series finale tonight after a three-season run. The series started off as the story of a single crime in the seaside British town, but it expanded to cover the resulting trial and then a new crime in its second and third seasons. It never quite matched the brilliance of Season 1, but it’s a sendoff to the great work done by actors David Tennant and Olivia Colman and a chance to see new Doctor Who Jodie Whittaker before she moves to an even higher-profile BBC series.
