MAKING WAVES
Jimmy Kimmel crystallized the comic craziness of President Trump’s unplanned, combative press conference at Trump Tower on Tuesday in the opening of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live.’ “I haven’t screamed at my TV this much since McDreamy died,” he said, calling the speech “an angry and passionate defense of white supremacists.” Just hours before latenight talk hosts were scheduled to tape their shows, Trump’s comments placing blame on “both sides” for the weekend violence in Charlottesville, Va., had jaws dropping. Kimmel continued: “I’m not joking when I say I would feel more comfortable if Cersei Lannister was running the country at this point.”
