I would like to take this opportunity

to officially rebuke our president and attorney general for ending the DACA program.

I commend New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for declaring that his state will sue to protect dreamers from the overwhelmingly brutal horror of mass deportation. I call on governors across the nation to join Cuomo.

I also call on Congress to reinstate the DACA program along with a clear pathway to citizenship in less than six months.

America is multi-ethnic and multicultural, and we must strongly rebuke the actions of Trump, who sadly promotes the division, disruption and destruction of the American dream. Arthur L. Mackey Jr. Roosevelt, N.Y.
