MLB OPENING DAY MARCH 29

Major League Baseball on Tuesday released its 2018 schedule, a slate that will feature the earliest opening day — March 29 — in history. The early start is due to the most recent labor deal, which will create three to four additional off days for teams throughout the season. As a result, every team will open on the same day for the first time since 1968. The final day of the season is scheduled for Sept. 30.
