The Supreme Court blocked a lower court decision that would have greatly expanded the number of refugees exempted from President Trump’s controversial travel ban.

Great news! This is yet another humbling defeat for those on the left and their globalist allies who want to turn this beautiful country into another Europe. Donovan Farr

Banning refugees from Trump’s outlined seven countries — but still admitting ones from Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the Emirates — is ridiculous. You know where the 9/11 hijackers came from? Guess Trump’s business interests in those countries trump national security! Jonathan Scott Spicer

You can’t stop what is right. The laws and morals of this great country will continue to protect our president’s decisions.

Great day for American sovereignty! Robert Lee

Same as Hitler appeasers who refused Jews refuge, Trump supporters are responsible for the deaths of every refugee who is not granted asylum. Gabe Litvin

Good for Trump and his team! At this time, our country faces serious threats from abroad. Not to say that we aren’t welcoming many who want to come to the U.S.; however, at this time so many of our own are suffering.

We need to look at those Americans who are having such a difficult time just surviving in our own country. Give us time to heal. Give us the necessary resources to get back on our own feet! Let’s get the help we so desperately need, e.g. affordable medical coverage for all. Let’s help ourselves, so we can then help others.

It’s not about not wanting refugees in America, it’s about having the resources to help them! There are those who think this is prejudice, but not at all. I believe in our country and its continuous love to anyone who wants to come here. But not at the risk of destroying our own. Thank you, President Trump, for possessing the qualities you do. And let no one sway you from making America great again. Daniel Harwood

Our followers shared their thoughts on the Supreme Court ruling that refugees need personal ties to U.S. citizens or groups to circumvent President Trump’s travel ban.

Pragmatism: a practical approach to problems and affairs. Something America needs to get back to and Trump is the man to lead us. @KCnLA There is a big difference between refugees and other immigrants. Some are facing threats of death in their home countries. @healthcare4safe They are not refugees, they’re invaders! Look at what’s happening in Europe! Ask yourself, why aren’t they seeking refuge in Muslim countries? @usedcars1995 Just thinking about how this country was a good place people came to as an escape from persecution. Now the light of freedom has been dimmed. @Six99Million It’s about time justices start upholding our laws and looking out for Americans over refugees! @Pgunn64
