Vehicle fences

Meant to stop vehicles from passing through, these are typically 3 to 4 feet high and are used to thwart drug-trafficking vehicles. There are two main types, and pedestrians can easily walk over or around them.

NORMANDY FENCES

Metal posts that resemble jacks or large X’s, usually cabled together.

PICKET FENCES

Vertical metal posts, just tall enough to keep out a vehicle.
