Jimmy Kimmel ripped the Graham-Cassidy health care bill and its namesake, Sen. Bill Cassidy, Tuesday. The Louisiana senator appeared on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ in May after Kimmel made a plea for affordable health care for those with pre-existing conditions after revealing his newborn had open-heart surgery. Cassidy assured the host he’d support policies that provide kids like Kimmel’s with the care they need without caps. However, as Kimmel pointed out, the new GOP-backed bill would let states apply for waivers to charge more for coverage.
