Kate Winslet’s heart may have gone on after starring in ‘Titanic,’ but she hasn’t lost her connection to director James Cameron. Winslet has reunited with Cameron to play a starring role in his upcoming ‘Avatar’ films. She’ll play the pivotal character Ronal in the adventure series, a person familiar with the films now in production but not authorized to speak publicly tells USA TODAY. “Kate and I have been looking for something to do together for 20 years, since our collaboration on ‘Titanic,’ which was one of the most rewarding of my career,” Cameron told Deadline.com, which broke the news. “I can’t wait to see her bring the character of Ronal to life.”
