The Rev. Al Sharpton in defense of ESPN personalit­y Jemele Hill, who was suspended for two weeks Monday for what the network said was “a second violation of our social media guidelines.” According to ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz, Hill’s latest violation of the policy was a series of tweets about Cowboys advertiser­s after owner Jerry Jones said he would bench any player who knelt during the anthem. It comes less than a month after Hill apologized after a controvers­ial Twitter rant in which she called Donald Trump “a white supremacis­t.”
