AEDES AEGYPTI MOSQUITO

Size: 4 to 7 millimeters

Diseases carried: Yellow fever, dengue fever, chikungunya and Zika virus.

Geographic distribution: One of the most widespread mosquito species. Found in Africa and Asia and more recently reported in South America, Europe and the southern half of the USA.

Transmission method: Bites victims for blood meals.
