CW, FRIDAY, 8 ET/PT Two of the sharpest, most insightful and funniest series about young women are back for their third and fourth seasons, respectively. Crazy Ex kicks off with a devastating premiere after the tumultuous Season 2 finale in which Rebecca Bunch (Rachel Bloom) is left at the altar and the audience learns that she was once institutionalized. Musical numbers (which borrow from Disney and ’80s glam), do not disappoint. Jane’s premiere focuses on the return of Adam (Tyler Posey) to Jane’s life and gets in some downright hilarious gags involving the series’ narrator.
