TWO OFFICERS FIRED AFTER DRAGGING MAN OFF PLANE
Chicago aviation officials fired two security officers involved in dragging David Dao, 69, off a United Airlines flight to Louisville in April after he refused to give up his seat, the city’s inspector general said Tuesday. Three security officers and a sergeant with Chicago’s Department of Aviation “mishandled a nonthreatening situation that resulted in a physically violent ... removal,” the Office of Inspector General said in a report.
