FORMER DISTRICT ATTORNEY GETS FIVE YEARS IN PRISON

Philadelph­ia’s former top prosecutor was sentenced Tuesday to five years in prison for accepting a bribe. The federal judge sentencing Seth Williams said he sold his office to “parasites.” Williams’ lawyer read a statement in which the former district attorney apologized and said he “squandered” the trust placed in him.
