Lily-Rose Depp and Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld posed for photos Tuesday on the red carpet at Women’s Wear Daily’s WWD Honors at The Pierre Hotel in New York. Lagerfeld took home the John B. Fairchild Honor. When asked what made Chanel the gold standard it is, Lagerfeld reminisced, “When I took over Chanel, everyone said: ‘Don’t touch it. It’s dead.’ ”
