The GOP plan would reduce the current seven tax brackets for individual filers to the following: 12%, 25%, 35% and 39.6%.

The new standard deduction would jump to $12,000 from $6,350 for single taxpayers, and $24,000 from $12,700 for married couples filing jointly.
