AT&T-TIME WARNER MERGER MAY FACE ANTITRUST SUIT
AT&T’s $85.4 billion acquisition of Time Warner may be facing a fight with the Justice Department that could force concessions to sealing the deal announced a year ago. The DOJ’s antitrust division is at work on an antitrust suit should the department opt to sue as a way to block the deal, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the situation. The Justice Department has been reviewing the merger since early this year.
