Librarians aren’t going anywhere

USA TODAY’s article “Careers: 8 jobs that won’t exist in 2030” declared “librarian” as the No. 1 career. But a recent report predicts growth in the information professions, including librarians, curators and archivists.

In addition to providing access to books, journals, newspapers and other media, both electronically and in print, libraries provide access to technologies, including 3D printers, recording studios, tools and public access to the In- ternet.
