NETFLIX SUBSCRIBERS TARGETED BY EMAIL SCAM

An email scam targeting Netflix users aims to gather personal information from the streaming service’s 110 million subscribers. The emails tell recipients their billing information needs updating and takes them to a fake Netflix website. They are asked to log in and enter information including credit card numbers. The scam is “relatively well-designed,” said Australian cyber security firm MailGuard.
