We honor those who served our country

Veterans Day is a day to illuminate in respect for those who’ve taken the oath of allegiance in service to our country.
Veterans, unlike any other workers, are away from their families for long periods of time, and on duty 24 /7 — especially in war zones. Many veterans, after their service, become members of organizations and individual chapters in their home states. These veterans give to their communities, assist other veterans in need and contribute to humanitarian programs in the countries they served. It’s my belief that for not the veterans, there wouldn’t be America! Our family shares a heartfelt thank you for all veterans, and our respect to the Department of Veterans Affairs for their work in caring for our servicemembers! Louis Cohen Tamarac, Fla.
