POSTAL SERVICE IN THE RED FOR 11TH YEAR IN A ROW

The beleaguere­d U.S. Postal Service reported a financial loss Tuesday for the 11th consecutiv­e year, citing declining mail volume and costs of its pension and health care obligation­s even as it predicted another strong holiday season of deliveries. The Postal Service reported a loss of $2.7 billion for the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30.
