POSTAL SERVICE IN THE RED FOR 11TH YEAR IN A ROW
The beleaguered U.S. Postal Service reported a financial loss Tuesday for the 11th consecutive year, citing declining mail volume and costs of its pension and health care obligations even as it predicted another strong holiday season of deliveries. The Postal Service reported a loss of $2.7 billion for the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30.
