Let’s hold off on calls for impeachment

Former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s guilty plea to lying to the FBI about his interactions with Russian officials has understandably gotten people talking about the impeachment of President Trump, but I will agree that that kind of talk is premature.

The investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller is still underway, and I will hold on to my judgment on the matter until it is finished. However, I will completely agree that our Founding Fathers would not be happy at all that a nation like Russia, an enemy of America for a long time, is at the center of this unprecedented investigation.
