The Newspaperman: The Life and Times of Ben Bradlee

The new documentary is a portrait of the late Washington Post editor, whom Tom Hanks will portray in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of the Pentagon Papers saga, The Post. The Newspaperman goes beyond Bradlee’s tenure at the Post and offers a look at his entire life, including his childhood, his time as a foreign correspondent for Newsweek in the 1950s and more. Figures such as Bob Woodward, Carl Bernstein, Henry Kissinger and Tom Brokaw are among those who speak on Bradlee’s legacy in the film, which is directed by John Maggio ( Looking for Lincoln).
