President Trump is right on Jerusalem

Despite the opinion of world leaders , the move by President Trump on the status of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moving the location of the U.S. Embassy to a section of the holy city — which has been part of Israel for nearly 70 years — was long overdue.

No matter what the reaction of the Palestinian government will be, it is immaterial, as it already fails to even recognize the state of Israel.

It was time to call a spade a spade, with all of Israel’s government offices, including the Knesset, in Jerusalem. Trump has made a wise decision, which merely confirms Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Israel. Nelson Marans New York
