Sept. 1 vs. Fordham, W 64-6: The Black Knights rushed for 513 yards without punting.

Sept. 9 vs. Buffalo, W 21-17: Darnell Woolfolk scored two late TDs and punter Nick Schrage sealed the win with a firstdown run off a fake. Sept. 16 at Ohio State, L 38-7: The Buckeyes limited Army to 278 rushing yards. Sept. 23 at Tulane, L 21-17: Jonathan Banks scored with 23 seconds remaining to win it for the Green Wave. Sept. 30 vs. Texas-El Paso, W 35-21: Andy Davidson rushed for 100 yards and Ahmad Bradshaw threw his first TD pass of the season. Oct. 7 at Rice, W 49-12: Army forced four first-half turnovers and led 35-0 at intermissi­on. Oct. 14 vs. Eastern Michigan, W 2827: James Gibson’s goal-line tackle stopped EMU’s two-point conversion attempt to preserve the win. Oct. 21 vs. Temple, W 31-28: Kelvin Hopkins forced overtime with a last-second TD pass, and Blake Wilson’s FG lifted the Black Knights to bowl eligibilit­y.

Nov. 4 at Air Force, W 21-0: Bradshaw rushed for 265 yards, and the Falcons were held scoreless for the first time in 306 games. Nov. 11 vs. Duke, W 21-16: A blocked punt return for a score helped the Black Knights finish unbeaten at home for the first time since 1996. Nov. 18 at North Texas, L 52-49: Bradshaw surpassed 200 yards, but the Mean Green snapped Army’s six-game winning streak as Mason Fine threw for four TDs and led a late FG drive.

Navy (6-5)

Sept. 1 at Florida Atlantic, W 42-19: Zach Abey ran for 235 yards and two scores in a lightning-delayed opener.

Sept. 9 vs. Tulane, W 23-21: Abey’s 79-yard TD pass to Tyler Carmona proved the difference in a close contest.

Sept. 23 vs. Cincinnati, W 42-32: The Midshipmen amassed 569 rushing yards, just 3 shy of the program record. Sept. 30 at Tulsa, W 31-21: Abey scored three times and Malcolm Perry rushed for 104 yards and a score.

Oct. 7 vs. Air Force, W 48-45: Abey and Carmona connected for the winning TD pass with 15 seconds remaining after the Falcons erased a 21-point deficit.

Oct. 14 at Memphis, L 30-27: Navy committed five turnovers and Riley Ferguson threw three TD passes as the Tigers handed the Mids their first defeat. Oct. 21 vs. Central Florida, L 31-21: Mistakes and a third-quarter injury to Abey undid the Mids as Otis Anderson’s late TD run sealed it for UCF. Nov. 2 at Temple, L 34-26: Frank Nutile’s four TD throws for the Owls sent the Mids to their third consecutiv­e loss.

Nov. 11 vs. SMU, W 43-40: Perry, starting at QB for the first time, ran for four TDs to snap Navy’s skid. Nov. 18 at Notre Dame, L 24-17: Despite just 17:18 of possession time, the Fighting Irish held on as Navy’s attempt at a game-tying drive stalled on downs.

Nov. 24 at Houston, L 24-14: The Mids led at intermissi­on, but the offense bogged down in the second half with only six first downs.
